Do People Still Blog?

Well? Of course they do. Now what you are looking at when you run around and read all your snarky gossip sites, they look more like magazines but online. But, I think this old school blog look is kind of cool.

Vio and I go way back. We actually first met online and it was a long time before we became friends in the physical world. We've drifted here and there but basically our friendship has lasted as has our wicked viewpoints on pop culture and pop vultures.

You can scroll down and see the origins of the name Slushies & Porn. I still stand by my original thoughts. With a little luck and a canny investor, you will see me out on a sidewalk in the East Village somewhere next summer rackin' up slushies and selling porn. Why not?

We are here to help you with side notes on all that we despise. We are haters. Unabashed. (At least I am.) ((I prefer to be honest upfront.))

We will explain words and future word usage.

Let's start with a new one: Horibe!

Horibe is used instead of "horrible" of course. Pronunciation is easy! (Whore-EE-b) This usage is best utilized when the person, place or things referred to are so rotten and detestable the they are bigger than an island in the Caribbean. (Absolutely no offense to the Caribbean! We love it there. I lived there for Christmas sake.)

Use it in a sentence now!

"Hades Caca is Horibe!"

"That aubergine eyeshadow is beyond Horibe!"*

*Note the second usage made the quasi-geographical inference even larger by suggesting that the eyeshadow is so bad that it is farther away than an island in the Caribbean.

See? Fun!
